My name is Thijs Coenen and I am a freelance software developer with extensive experience in Python and a strong interest in science. I hold a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics, taught programming courses at the bachelor and master levels at the University of Amsterdam, and have contributed to open source systems used by Dutch local governments.
